People ask why The Device isn’t used against ISIS terrorists

Due to recent massive wave of worldwide terrorist attacks, allegedly backed by so called Islamic State (IS, ISIS or ISIL), many people in Western countries are outraged and calling for decisive military action against the terrorists. However, NATO still hesitates to strike into the heart of insurgents in Iraq and Syria, and limited air strikes are not able to stop the rising terrorist threat to world peace, stability and sustainability.

“To defeat IS is not a matter of military force, but rather politics. Mutual political and economic relations in the Middle East are very complicated and fragile, hard to understand for us, Western citizens,” a member of the EU’s Security Council said earlier today, when attacked by the opposition in the European Parliament.

Many EP deputies complained about immense financial costs for modernizing their national military forces, including vast costs for obtaining the military version of The Device, which should be able to disrupt all enemy operations. Moreover, a leaked top secret document revealed recently, that the United Kingdom paid incredible amount of 1 billion USD for this “toy”, but from unknown reasons, The Device was not activated in joint NATO military operations against terrorists.

“We want to know, why our tax payers had to finance this expensive toy, and now it’s not used for anything good, while our enemies are on the march against the Europe, endangering our freedom and our way of life?” both UK citizens and press are asking loudly and discontentedly, and they are not alone.

It’s well known fact, that at least five another NATO countries now own The Device, but surprisingly, none of these countries offers their ultimate military hardware to use in an international counterterrorist operation against ISIS.

The Device is fully capable of such demanding missions, and there is no defense against it,” the Executive Manager of The Corporation assured the hungry press. “We don’t restrict any military use of The Device in any region, and we fully support NATO counterterrorist operations. It’s the matter of political decisions, not the matter of capabilities of our invention. Your voted deputies have to push the button, not us,” she explained to the journalistic assembly, and wide noise and whistling followed.

“It seems that our politicians don’t want to win, from some unknown reasons, otherwise they would give the green light for using The Device against IS,” the general public opinion in the West says.

Although IS is well known for its mastery in using propaganda and social networks, even Gender Warfare, in this case, they remained surprisingly silent and made no proclamations or threats against The Corporation. This unexpected move only supports wide public assumptions, that The Device has at least certain respect between adversaries, who are not afraid of UAVs, cruise missiles and U.S. Special Forces commandos, but this ultimate piece of technology makes them uneasy.

“The truth is, that there are too many different interests in the Middle East. If The Device will be used there, then rather in a limited way, to slowly influence general situation there, by changing stances of certain participating sides. We even think, that The Device is being used there already, but from tactical reasons, NATO high command rather denies it, to worry the enemies further, to fulfill them with uncertainty and distrust to each other,” an experienced analyst from a top global intelligence company said.

But such nicely sounding theory can’t satisfy angry Western public, who perceives NATO approach too soft.

“It should be reminded, that NATO isn’t the only main player in the Middle East. Russia and China also have their interests there, and China clearly indicated that any substantial military escalation of the local situation is undesirable. The West has to respect this stance. Then, using The Device, an indirect and hidden tool of warfare, would seem logical and tactically correct,” the security analyst concluded.

In any case, it seems, that the future of the world will be shaped in the Middle East. The question remains: how widely will The Device influence it?
