Although the Unit participates widely in modern counter terrorism operations against Islamic State, both itself or in connection with NATO and EXFOR Paramilitary, the Unit’s deployment is under strict control of Special Parliamentary Commission for Defence, Foreign Interests and Control of Special Weaponry and other Control Measures, to protect critical information about Unit’s unique strategy and tactics against potential misuse by foreign Intelligence agencies and the terrorists, connected to various sects, as they can be only puppets of foreign power(s), created artifically to become a means of achieving sensitive international tasks, using so called Black Flag operations.
It should be reminded, that the Unit was originally established as a paramilitary formation, operating mostly in domestic civilian environment, excluding situations of national emergency, when the capital, Prague, was assaulted by an Islamic State commando, and the Unit participated in merciless defence of the city center, and the Old Town Hall. However, under normal conditions, any combat task with risk of capturing Unit’s member was to be avoided at all costs.
Thus, sending Unit’s operatives abroad was strictly forbidden by the Czech Ministry of Defence, and any of these potential actions were unsanctioned by the high military command. No such operations outside Czech national borders are known to be executed to present date, or attending operatives were lost (killed) and any connection with the Czech Army or NATO was denied, according to plausible deniability rule.
However, the Czech tabloid media speculated about the real background of an elite Czech female assassin in Syria, Marketa Vselichova, with more than 100 confirmed sniper kills of the terrorist enemy, who is rumored to receive Special Forces training from the Czech Military, to promote Czech national interest in Kurdish-Turkish conflict, to yet widen the tentacles of the Czech influence abroad, as Syria is the key country of the world future, and Turkey as well, so the Czech state allegedly wanted to gain control in the endless Kurdish war for an independent state. Marketa Vselichova is even suspected to be an operative of Executive Action department of the Unit, specialized at training of various assassins (or in proper newspeak, “unauthorized defenders of peace”), operating under Plausible Deniability, without authorization or sanction of the state.
